I am a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist and founder of The Center of Success, a hypnotherapy and therapy center in Wayne, PA. I am also certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists to teach others to become highly effective Certified Hynotherapists, and am the author of the Amazon Bestselling book, Powerful Thinking on Purpose.
In March 2020, I was scheduled to take a pysanky class at our local art center. I was so excited because I love the intricacy of pysanky and, after years of thinking about it, I finally found a class! Then, the pandemic happened.
We were on lockdown. The class was canceled. 🙁
During the pandemic, I decided to start a new hobby. I tried to crochet. Too boring. Baking? Nope. Too fattening. Painting? Too messy.
I wanted my hobby to be both challenging and clean. One that I could walk away from and come back the next day, without having to put everything away. (Yes, I’m lazy!)
Polymer clay came to mind because I enjoyed playing with it in the early 90s when my kids were young.
In 2021, I bought some clay, connected with Facebook groups, and started to learn from YouTube videos.
I’m drawn to patterns. I love how the seeds look in the middle of a huge sunflower. The contrast of stripes on a zebra. It’s fascinating how feathers lay so nicely on a bird. Nature is inspiring. I like the repetition of design. Even the repetition in our local IKEA store displays inspires me.
I create unique jewelry, gifts, and unusual items out of polymer clay. Crafting these pieces brings me joy, and I hope they make you smile, too!
Working with polymer clay is similar to working in ceramics, but instead of baking my pieces in a kiln, I bake them in my oven at home, and instead of glazing or painting them, I can mix colors of clay to get the perfect balance of brightness and fun.
I am an award-winning polymer artist (International Polymer Clay Association), the VP of the Haverford Guild of Hypnotists, and I teach small-group polymer clay classes in my studio on the Main Line, in Pennsylvania.

What I love about polymer clay, is that the possibilities are endless.
